The first stage is the KWPSQC-2 filter, which removes sediment down to 5 microns, chlorine, and chemicals. Following this, the KW-THC membrane separates dissolved solid contaminants like sodium, manganese, fluoride, nitrate, nitrite, lead, and iron from the water molecule. The membrane can reject over 95% of the dissolved solids in the feed water. The third stage is the KWPSQC-4 carbon block cartridge, which improves the taste of the water and removes more chemicals.

While some reverse osmosis systems have 4 or 5 filtration stages, this system keeps it simple with 3 effective stages. This approach helps to minimize routine filter replacement costs for homeowners. Replacement filter cartridges can be purchased by searching for KWPSQC-2&4, and should be changed annually. Cartridge replacements with the membrane can be purchased by searching for KWPSQC-Module-2&4, and the membrane should be replaced approximately every 5 years. The system includes an installation kit and a 3.2 gallon storage tank. There are 5 faucet finishes available, each with a Euro decorative design. The faucets are Lead Free and IAPMO certified to ensure safety. The filters are self-contained for convenience and to prevent contamination.
